The system can
do better
Too often, the WorkCover process is slow, impersonal, and adversarial. Injured workers find themselves caught between clinical, administrative, and legal systems — without a guide, without clarity, and without an advocate.
“Injured people deserve faster access to care, honest communication, and a system built around their recovery — not around claim management.”
Our founding beliefPremier Health Australia exists to bridge the gap between clinical care and WorkCover outcomes. We coordinate the right care, communicate clearly to all parties, and focus every decision on one goal: returning people to health and independence.
Clinical leadership,
your recovery
Premier Health Australia was founded by Dr Cameron Muirhead and is grounded in his extensive experience in injury management and WorkCover care. Recognising the absence of coordinated clinical oversight for injured workers, he established a service designed to bring clarity, leadership, and continuity to every stage of the recovery journey.
With extensive experience within the WorkCover WA framework and strong relationships across Perth’s surgical and hospital networks, Dr Muirhead brings a high level of clinical insight and coordination to every case. From complex surgical referrals to permanent impairment assessments and return-to-work planning, care is delivered with clarity, structure, and consistency.
The result is a practice that is faster, clearer, and more clinically authoritative than the fragmented care that most injured workers experience. Premier Health Australia bridges the gap between the patient and specialist care — so that recovery is not just possible, but well-guided from first contact to final resolution.
“Workplace injury changes lives. Our job is to make that change as temporary as possible.”
